Emily and Atticus

I met Emily and Atticus at the park in Circle C to take some photos before her baby girl arrives in July. It's a hot time to be pregnant - especially this year - but neither Emily nor Atticus acknowledged that there was anything that might slow her down. What a great pair (and what a perfect time to capture their relationship).
Here are some of my favorites.

Black Rock Park

Last weekend we went to Black Rock Park on Lake Buchanan (about 1 1/2 hours from Austin) with Bridget, Erik, and the kids. The park is run by the LCRA and it was great - clean cabins with AC, beautiful weather, and something resembling a beach (especially if you're four and have very limited experience with real beaches). I've decided rental cabins/houses are the way to go for family trips.

Kristin and Seamus had an acoustic set for our evening entertainment. Seamus did a lovely rendition of "Mommy Is So Awesome" - I'm hoping Bridget's video came out for future blackmail purposes.

I've decided to try to regain a little editing balance and stop neglecting pictures of my boys. We'll see if it lasts a little longer than the short-lived daily 7 for an organized household. :)

Oh how I love new babies! Especially 1 week old newborns who smile for the camera!? (apparently someone does not share her mom's camera aversion. ;)
